When going to get a new hair cut, some men may have trouble finding the right words to describe the kind of hairstyle they are going for, and often don’t know themselves.

One man, wondering what to do with eight years worth of hair, decided to leave his head in the hands of 10 different stylists by restricting himself to the simple phrase: “I’ll leave it to you.”

It seems the man had been growing his hair out for the very purpose of this experiment, and at the beginning of the video he explains: “What will happen to my hair if I go to 10 different barber shops in a day? The rule is I won’t say anything but ‘I’ll leave it to you.’ I don’t care what happens!”

Much of his hair is chopped off during the first visit, leaving him with a “very cool look.” The second visit doesn’t see much of a change and, because of this, on the third visit the camera crews suggests the elderly female barber give him a more “cool rock look.”

However, the elderly lady ends up cutting off more than they expected, and with seven more visits to go the crew were worried that the experiment might be a failure. Still, the man stands resolute: “I don’t want to blame the old lady for this. I will get my hair cut 10 times. I am filled with the spirit of the barber!”

Unfortunately, after the eighth cut the crew were turned down at every shop and had no choice but to throw in the towel.
