So, everybody, what do you think when you see a girl’s armpit hair? Does it make a difference if she’s smoking hot? A lot of people would probably be surprised, and some of them might even reject her entirely over the matter.

Well, this has apparently become a big topic of conversation in China, where a pretty young woman bared her hairy pits to the world.

The person who started all the talk is internet personality Zhang Zetian. A picture of her holding a milk tea (see below) had previously gone viral online, earning her the nickname Milk Tea Girl.

In her high school days, Milk Tea Girl gained popularity from her image as a well-groomed, upstanding and beautiful young woman. But it wasn’t just her looks that appealed to people. This year, it was announced that she was accepted to one of China’s most prestigious colleges, Tsinghua University. She’s not just a pretty face, guys.

Recently, a national cheer-leading competition was held in Beijing and Milk Tea Girl’s team participated, wearing sexy, navel-bearing uniforms in purple and white.

In front of the crowds of spectators, they smilingly performed their routine. Then, as they threw their arms over their heads in the classic cheer-leader pose, there it was! Something black in Zhang’s armpits! Yes, a darkish patch in the center of her armpit!

Suddenly, the net was ablaze with the question “WAS THAT ARMPIT HAIR?!”

The practice of removing armpit hair has slowly been spreading in China, though it is less common than in Japan. However, it seems that the sight of a pretty girl fully baring unshorn pits to the world is something of a shock.

But even knowing what’s under her arms hasn’t lessened Milk Tea Girl’s appeal. On the contrary, she’s even more popular! After all, even with hairy armpits, Milk Tea Girl is still one hot lady.
