Time and time again, the Chinese have proven that they are champions when it comes to creating innovative rip-offs. No one would argue that they create rip-offs with world-class balls and skills. They particularly seem to love the iPhone, and we’ve seen them come up with some truly crazy iPhone rip-off ideas that have amazed even the Chinese themselves.

So, what have the Chinese come up with this time? Well, as the weather starts to get warmer, a certain “cool” iPhone related product seems to be hitting it big in China. The plastic package containing the product has “iPhone 5″ written on it in both English and Chinese. Could this be the long awaited new iPhone in a simple package?

I’m sure you’ve guessed by now that the product we’re talking about isn’t the real iPhone5. In fact, it’s not an electronic product at all. No, it’s an iPhone ice cream bar! And the ice cream bars are not even apple flavored – apparently they come in pear or mango flavor. Nonetheless, many pictures of the ice cream bar have been posted on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, and it looks as if the ice cream bars may actually be popular.

You might be wondering what these ice cream bars look like. Luckily, we don’t have to guess, since many internet users from China have posted pictures of the actual ice cream bar with the package removed, and if you were expecting an ice cream shaped like an iPhone, then you are in for a surprise. The ice cream bar looks nothing like a phone but almost resembles the appearance of a fried egg, except the yellow in the middle is in the shape of an apple! Well, at least they made sure there is an apple connection.

So there you have it – the latest iPhone rip-off from China in the form of an ice cream bar. You have to hand it to the Chinese; they never cease to surprise you with their creativity!
