A new Harry Potter train was introduced on the JR Sakurajima line providing access to Universal Studios Japan from Nishikujo Station in Osaka.
The train hit the tracks on February 1 in anticipation of the summer 2014 opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios Japan. The train design features images of Hogwarts Castle, and the trio of Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
The planned theme park will bring the world of Harry Potter to life at the price of 45 billion yen (US $482 million). You can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be hopping on board as soon as the new theme park opens!
