PostDriving

Here at RocketNews24, we like to bring you the latest and greatest, whether it’s (potentially) killer mechs or adorable new fonts! But sometimes it’s nice to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of raw human ingenuity.

Here’s a group of Thai men constructing a new building foundation using nothing more than their body weight and a see-saw-like plank to drive a concrete pole into the ground. Bouncing up and down, the workers chant along as a middle-aged man, perhaps the foreman, taps out a simple rhythm on a tambourine. And, amazingly enough, in under thirty seconds they’re done, without a tractor, crane, or jackhammer in sight!

Kinda, almost, sorta makes you want to consider a career change, doesn’t it? (Well, maybe not…)
