Meet Machi Okabe, the gorgeous violinist whose music is just as beautiful as her face (or is it the other way around?). Her exceptional musical talents combined with her breathtaking beauty have been attracting a lot of attention from netizens around the world this week.

Watch the following videos to see for yourself what’s everyone’s been talking about!

Ms. Okabe was born in 1984 and began learning to play the violin when she was just three years old. Since making her musical debut, she has steadily gained grown in popularity and regularly collaborates with famous singers for live performances, recordings, and new musical arrangements. Her past credits include stints with famous music acts like Dragon Ash, hitomi, sound horizon, AAA, Kana Nishino, and Ryuichi Kawamura (lead singer of rock band Luna Sea), as well as several covers, such as “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay. And with the double threat of both beauty and brains, she’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Ms. Okabe has uploaded some videos of herself playing songs on her official YouTube channel, including “The Merry-Go-Round of Life” (theme song of Studio Ghibli’s 2004 film Howl’s Moving Castle) and “A Whole New World” (from Disney’s Aladdin).

Additionally, Japan’s Fuji TV posted a clip featuring her on August 28, 2013 (which is apparently “Violin Day” in Japan). In the video, she answers some brief questions about her musical aptitude. Based on her responses, she also comes across as surprisingly humble.
