After one lucky shopper made $2,500 from his factory defect dual-wielding Samus Amiibo, others have been pouring onto eBay in the hopes of making a quick buck.

One seller’s three-armed Peach reached $365, although it wasn’t enough to meet the reserve price.

Meanwhile, another seller has settled on an offer for a Marth Amiibo, complete with an extra head rattling around in the packaging.

It seems, though, that unless someone finds a dual-wielding Link, or a Pikachu with Samus’ head on it, the market for “defective” Amiibos may be reaching a saturation point. A search on eBay for “amiibo defect” turns up some chuckle-worthy results, including multiple Links with bent swords, stripeless Pikachus, paint mistakes, unglued figures, and a few too many Amiibos that have simply come loose from their packages. Even the figures that have sold for big dollars have no indication that money has changed hands.

It seems that some sellers are approaching the situation with good humor, though, offering “not rare” Amiibos at ludicrous prices, in the hopes that some deep-walleted buyer will bite.
