shot-top

We were totally impressed with this video showing a super-miniature cookie shot dessert being created at the Dominique Ansel Bakery Japan!

New York-based Dominique Ansel Bakery, which opened their first overseas branch in Tokyo just a year ago, are famous for their cronuts, the delicate and flaky croissant-doughnut hybrid sweet. But another one of their original desserts, the cookie shot, is also a favorite among customers.

And just what exactly is a cookie shot? It’s a brilliant take on cookies and milk where cold-infused vanilla milk is served in a warm chocolate chip cookie baked in the shape of a shot glass. (And, yes, the vanilla milk and chocolate chip cookie melting together in the cookie glass is as yummy as it sounds!)

Recently, the bakery shared on their Facebook page a delightful video of a super-tiny cookie shot being made by one of the bakers at their Tokyo branch — with real ingredients and miniature tools!

▼ Yes, it looks like an extremely delicate process!

▼ Here’s the actual video where you can see all the action!

Well, we thought that was pretty amazing, especially when you look at how tiny the miniature cookie shot is compared to a regular-sized one. It’s so small, in fact, that they had to use a dropper to add the milk!

If the video made you hungry for cookies and milk, you can get cookie shots (full-sized, of course) at the Dominique Ansel Bakery Japan in Tokyo’s Omotesando area starting at 3 p.m. each day!
