Most people think the art of juggling is played out.  We think we’ve seen it all from balls to batons to even the point that flaming chainsaws gets yawns from spectators.  But a performance at the 2012 Japan Juggling Festival by a mysterious juggler called Yanazo drew gasps and a standing ovation from the crowd.

Even only using a single ball he is captivating to watch.  If you can catch a ball with the outside of your elbow then congratulations: You can do about a half a second of this six minute act.

Starting with just one ball he manipulates it around his body as if it had a mind of its own.  Then he moves on to two balls.  I’ve never seen someone handle a pair of balls like that since my uncle Charley… who was also a juggler (get your minds out of the gutter people).

Even when he appears to stumble it hardly looks like a weakness on his part rather than an indication of how difficult this must be.  Even after finishing his act with three balls he simply throws them down and walks off like a rock star without acknowledging the standing ovation he just got.
