Bicycle theft is no laughing matter, especially in Japan where bikes are widely relied upon for daily transportation. Luckily, a cheap and effective means of protecting your ride has surfaced on the internet, and it’s sure to send any would-be thieves packing.

That’s right, all you have to do is let your bike sit outside for a certain length of time during early summer and then let mother nature do all the work. Wasps often use wood fibers to build their nest, so you might want to leave some old sticks lying around to help move things along.
