The old saying is that curiosity killed the cat. We’re not sure which cat they were talking about, but it’s definitely true that cats are downright nosy and always getting into everything.

But some cats are a bit better at “getting into everything” than others, like this much-loved feline who demonstrates a single-minded dedication to opening all the things!

Twitter user @gentlerain0 is the proud owner of an adorably inquisitive one-year-old cat named Zoi. The youngster recently became a bit of a Twitter star thanks to @gentlerain0’s videos of the kitty throwing all its strength into desperately trying to open this drawer.

If you’re wondering why Zoi is so interested in getting inside, @gentlerain0 says that the cat recently figured out that this is where they keep the toys. Suddenly, Zoi’s mad attempts to gain entry make a lot more sense!

▼ “I can see it! I just can’t reach it!”

However, drawers aren’t the only things Zoi wants to be inside of—he cat is also apparently a bit obsessed with opening the orange garbage can, as you can see below.

After a bit of trial and error, the cat finally figures out the Secret of the Great Plastic Box! We’re starting to wonder if Zoi doesn’t have some Jason Bourne-level spy training…

There are other things the black-and-grey cat enjoys getting into, like this soft pink cat cube. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always have the best luck getting back out…

▼ It’s best if you imagine a “wah-wah-waaaah” sound at the end…

But only a few days later, it looks like Zoi has figured out exactly how to get out of the cube. Admit it, you wish you were a cat now, don’t you?

With as smoothly and quickly as Zoi launched out of the tunnel, it’s almost impossible to imagine just how it did that. Fortunately, @gentlerain0 supplied this slow-motion video of the cat leaping out of its favorite box.

▼ We just need David Attenborough to narrate this…

Finally, here are two photos of Zoi just hanging out in boxes, being the very imagine of adorable.

As aggressive and persistent as Zoi is, we’re glad not every cat is this gung-ho about getting into things. Otherwise, this bento shop would likely already be out of business!
