Just because Sesame Street is a show for kids, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some Elmo-shaped food!

While Harajuku’s Takeshita Street is best know for its world-famous fashion scene, it’s also home to a large number of restaurants, food shops, and cafes. From high-end cupcakes and French restaurants to kebobs and candy stores, you’re sure to find something good to snack on between trips to clothing stores. And now, for a limited time only, you can also add munching on Elmo’s face to the list of food activities available to Tokyo’s goth lolis!

Called “Elmo to Yukaina Nakamatachi Cafe,” or “Elmo and His Fun Friends Cafe,” the cafe is open now and will be until the end of June. The menu probably won’t be a revelation to anyone, but many of the dishes feature Sesame Street characters’ faces, like the chicken curry made (apparently) of Elmo’s grinning face.

There is also plenty of juice for thirsty diners, including one called “Elmo’s blood orange juice.” (Obviously, this is juice from blood oranges, but how many of you didn’t read it as orange juice with Elmo’s blood?)

The dishes aren’t too expensive — though they’re not exactly inexpensive either. The chicken curry, for example, will put you back 1,600 yen (about US$14.62) and the juices above go for 700 yen (about $6.40) each.

And, if you’re feeling a bit embarrassed about visiting the cafe as an adult, worry not! Even Megbaby, a Japanese model and “Instagram idol,” put in an appearance, posing with Big Bird and Cookie Monster. If she can enjoy chomping through a plate of Elmo’s face, then so can you!
