About a month ago, we brought you the story of artist Showta Mori and Lisako, his plastic-bottle girlfriend. Their forbidden love landed Mori in police custody for “suspicious behavior.”

Well, Mori apparently escaped incarceration because he has just released a new video in collaboration with beverage maker Suntory that promotes his latest invention: the brainwave-controlled muscle suit (ver. 3)!

In a helpfully English-subtitled video released through the Suntory YouTube channel, Mori demonstrates how the suit works through the experiences of a love-lorn, nerdy high school kid.

▼Nerdy? Sure, but that ain’t no average headband!

When the object of his affection is being bothered by three jocks, our hero comes to her defense by calling inexplicably huge muscles into being!

▼ Get ready to taste the pain, jock scum!

So impressed by his display of super strength, the jocks fall to the ground and beg to become his friends. Soon they are all hanging out, arm wrestling and perving on girls together. But lest you think our hero has himself become a jerk, he also wins the girl’s heart be offering her a special umbrella and a look at his huge pecs on a rainy day.

But how does the device work? Mori, as the scientist on the right, explains that when the sensor in the headband detects a certain amount of brainwave excitement, pneumatic valves open, inflating the muscles and releasing CO2 gas to make the transformation look so cool.

They might still have a few bugs to work out though, as the video shows anything from a little intestinal discomfort to an “indirect kiss” can set off the system.

Check out the whole silly thing yourself.

What do you think, guys and gals, any buyers?
